Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust announce GSK IMPACT Award in partnership with the Kings Fund.
The organisation is one of 10 winners which beat over 350 charities to win the accolade, which recognises excellence among organisations working in health and wellbeing.
Robert Music, Chief Executive said about the win,
" We are delighted that the work of the charity has been recognised in this way. Jo’s has made great strides in recent years thanks to the support of our fantastic community of volunteers, fundraisers, health care professionals and supporters. In what is our fifteenth anniversary year we have been able to reach and support more women than ever before as well as campaign for increased awareness about prevention, as well as best care and treatment.
We hope to continue to improve the lives of those affected by cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities and work towards a future where cervical cancer is a disease of the past."
