Who are HACT?
HACT is a charity, social enterprise and industry-focused think/do tank established by the housing association sector.
The aim is to work with the housing sector, government, civil society and communities to develop and share innovative approaches to meeting changing needs. They seek to influence and innovate in ways which help all housing providers deliver more effectively within their communities.
“Social housing providers are a phenomenal sector. They provide houses for 1 in 8 households in this country. HACTs role is to work with them to help promote ideas and innovation and if we can make a small contribution to helping them deliver more for their communities then I think we will of fulfilled our mission.”
