Who are Men’s Health Forum?
Men’s Health Forum is a charity dedicated to promoting the health and wellbeing of men and boys, particularly those in the most disadvantaged areas and communities of England and Wales, to prevent obesity and early deaths.
Men’s Health Forum’s mission is to raise awareness for mental and physical health issues among men and boys. They carry out this mission by researching men’s health issues with charities, universities and academic institutions and providing men and health professionals information to ensure men and boys live healthier, longer and more fulfilling lives.
‘Currently in the UK, 1 in 5 men will die before the age of 65, 67% of men are overweight or obese and 4 out of 5 suicides are males – we want to change this! We want to ensure that health programmes are designed for men to achieve a healthy weight to avoid early deaths.’
