Who are the Council for Licensed Conveyancers?
For over 25 years, The CLC has protected public interest, provided customer choice and promoted effective competition in the legal services market.
The CLC sets entry standards and regulates providers to deliver high quality, accessible legal services to offer customers the best possible service. In the coming year, The CLC are overhauling their education offering to ensure there are enough quality lawyers to meet demand and have been granted the right to issue standalone probate licences by Westminster, marking further growth and an extension of their regulatory powers.
