Next in our Customer Spotlight series we find out more about Association for Young People’s Health (AYPH).
Who are AYPH?
AYPH is a progressive new charity and membership forum, creating a focus for everyone working in the field of young people’s health across the UK.
Young people have a right to good health. AYPH brings together professionals and organisations working to improve young people’s health and well-being. By sharing learning and best practice we can promote and provide better services to meet young people’s health needs.
“Our work is about ensuring that young people have a voice in society around their health and wellbeing - that’s important nationally, but also on a local level.
The objective is that we get health services commissioned at a local level across the UK which take on board young people’s views. Listening to young people will result in health services which are better able to respond to their health needs. In the end we hope to have improved young people’s health which is better for all our society.”
